13 Oct - Breakfast and bed (not either / or)
The only problem with breakfast is that making time for it can mean less hours spent in bed in the morning. And being in bed in the morning is nice.
Emily Miller of Trends on Trends is solving this sole breakfast-related problem one event at a time with the Breakfast Club series. For these, Emily coerces some of the country’s best chefs to turn a delicious breakfast meal into a fast-food format that can be grabbed to-go, or (if you’re inclined to make the time) eaten in-restaurant with a hefty side of good conversation.
On October 19, she’s coercing our mate and head chef of 27 Restaurant Jimmy LeBron to give the breakfast-as-fast-food concept a crack. We don’t know what he’s going to make, but we definitely know he’s going to nail it. And we know that we’ll be staggering in somewhere between the 9am start time and the 11.30am finish time to grab our breakfast bag filled with a main, two sides, and a Café Integral coffee.
And then, maybe, we’ll be going back to bed.
