20 Dec - Freehand x Squarespace
Here at Freehand, we love a good zine — they’re nostalgic, colorful, and collectible, like tiny vehicles of creativity. That’s why we’ve partnered with our friends at Squarespace, purveyors of excellently designed websites, to create our own zine, OffLine, dedicated to the dreamers and doers whose stories inspire us — and will hopefully inspire you, too.
The inaugural issue of OffLine — which you can find in Freehand lobbies and guest rooms nationwide — features stories on the ground-breaking founder of the Emmy-nominated web series, Brown Girls, Fatimah Asghar, and the contemporary portrait artist John MacConnell (both of whom built their sites on Squarespace), along with rundowns of the coolest restaurants and shops from coast to coast (several of which don’t even require exiting the Freehand to find!).
Also within the beautifully designed pages of the zine, you’ll find an exclusive discount for starting your own Squarespace website, so you can get to work on building your dream, whatever that may be.
Squarespace empowers people with creative ideas to succeed. Their all-in-one platform—domains, websites, online stores, and marketing tools—gives you everything you need to make your website stand out.
Squarespace offers friends of Freehand 10% off any first annual purchase of a website. This offer can be redeemed by visiting squarespace.com/freehand and entering FREEHAND into the Promo Code field at checkout. Terms and conditions apply.
