Peace On Earth Film Festival + Tacoteqa

FRIDAY, 3/10, 9pm: This three day festival showcases films about social justice and human rights with the aim of advancing world peace. This year’s topics address prison reform and the modern struggle of Native Americans against the U.S. government, and also features a drama by award-winning director John Hancock. ($7)

FRIDAY, 3/10, 10pm: Make your way back to the Freehand after your night on the town for Tacoteqa at Cafe Integral! Get your late-night fix of quesadillas, tacos, cervezas & more. (Free Entry)

SXSW Send-Off + Tacoteqa

SATURDAY, 3/11, 9pm: Come hang with some of our favorite local Chicago artists as we send them off to SXSW! Saturday’s SXSW Send Off features Cool Kids rapper/producer, Chuck Inglish. Say what’s up to Chuck and watch his live performance in the Den while he crushes the mic with his laid back flows. (Free Entry)

SATURDAY, 3/11, 10pm: It’s late night and you and your crew are hungry. Come by Tacoteqa at the Freehand and fill up on all your Mexican favorites, including beer and signature cocktails as well! (Free Entry)

TUESDAY, 3/15, 7pm: Chicago Music Exchange partners with Taylor Guitars for an exclusive Night with Guitar Makers. Join Bob Taylor and Chief Designer Andy Powers as they explore the history of Taylor Guitars along with their latest gear followed by a Q&A session. (Free Entry)
