Ink Exhibit at The Field Museum + Flicks At The Public

WEDNESDAY, 3/29, 11-4:30pm: Tattoos convey many different ideas and meanings across every culture in the world. Whether you have a tattoo or have ever been intrigued by one, the Ink Exhibit at The Field Museum is truly incredible. Reserve a spot and you can even get inked up by one of the exhibit’s resident artists. ($22)

WEDNESDAY, 3/29, 7pmFlicks at The Public is showing Empire Records, the iconic classic about a day in the life of two record store employee misfits. All proceeds go directly to Cinema/Chicago’s Education Program that brings independent film to Chicagoland students. ($20)

Push Beats + Big Sounds at Tiny Tavern

THURSDAY, 3/30, 5:30pm: Navy Pier is all about that jazz every Thursday from now through April 6. The popular lakefront destination has teamed up with its new craft cocktail lounge and the Jazz institute of Chicago to launch Big Sounds at Tiny Tavern. The show is free and anyone is welcome. (Free)
