7 Aug - Old Meets New in Chicago
Chicago
A couple of years back, we set out on a journey to transform a Chicago landmark that once towered over the eclectic River North neighborhood. The Tokyo Hotel was a prized component of Chicago culture, so it was only right we acknowledged the history during our restoration efforts. Before construction began, we collaborated with photographer and Freehand friend Nathan Michael to explore the remnants of Tokyo Hotel’s past. Through his stunning visuals we were able to capture an untouched and unfiltered glimpse into the stories of previous travelers. Today, Nathan Michael’s photos hang in our Chicago lobby, welcoming yet another generation of worldly travelers.
