8 Sep - Taco Takeover at Freehand Chicago
Did you know that last year alone Americans consumed almost 5 billion tacos? It’s also nearing 730 tons, which is double the weight of the Empire State Building in New York City. Clearly, there’s a major love affair going on with Americans and their tacos. And things have gotten pretty serious — National Taco Day now exists, and it’s just around the corner (Oct. 4th).
Typical tacos—as most people know them—are a mix of grilled meats or fish, pico de gallo, lettuce, sour cream and sometimes jalapenos. Certain regions of the world (mostly Mexico, Texas, and California) have upped their taco game. Freehand Chicago’s Tacoteqa, however, has taken that game to the next level. With ingredients like squash blossoms, corn truffle and chicken tinga, you won’t find another taco OR quesadilla of the sort.
Every Thursday-Sunday 9pm-close, watch Café Integral transform into taco heaven as The Shaker chefs serve mouth-watering creations with a side of disco beats and specialty margaritas. We like to keep our tenacious taco lovers on their toes and always leave their taste buds craving more, which is why our menu is always changing. From fire roasted rajas quesadillas to pork belly al pastor tacos, those who choose Tacoteqa for their late night snack will have a new, delicious experience every time.
Who’s ready for tacos? See you at Tacoteqa!
