15 Nov - Weekend Roundup: November 15-17
T-G-I-F! Don’t think we’ll ever get tired of saying that.
Friday (11/15) // Miami Short Film Fest:
Later: Kick off the best part of the week with a quick injection of culture from the Miami Short Film Fest. Featuring over 100 films from around the globe, all clocking in at under 20 minutes, the MSFF is easily worth the $12. Promise. Check the schedule and don’t hesitate… it’s closing night. (Tickets)
Saturday (11/16) // Brunch + PAX Positivity Party:
(Not too) early: If chicken and waffles, blackberry bourbon lemonade and sugar dusted blueberry pancakes are among the only things that can get you out of bed on Saturday (and Sunday) mornings, then this is for you. Peep at our latest Where to Brunch Local Guide/Foursquare list for the inside scoop on the 305’s top spots to get those brunch essentials, hand picked by our crew.
Sunday (11/17) // Pavan Sangria Challenge at The Broken Shaker:
4pm: Spend Sunday with us and The Broken Shaker crew as we play host to Pavan Liqueur’s travel-inspired Sangria Challenge. Your job: drinking up, chowin’ down and voting for the best of five Pavan sangrias created by a handful of super talented bartenders, including Broken Shaker’s own Cricket Nelson and Gui Jaroschy. The one-and-only Savannah Buffett (daughter of the legendary Jimmy Buffett) will also be hanging out, and hooking us up with some sweet, laid back beats. It’s tough work for a Sunday, but someone’s got to do it. (RSVP)
