Friday (11/22) // Literary Death Match at Bardot:
6pm: Tonight, the local mobile library Bookleggers is joining forces with Literary Death Match for a super-entertaining night of competition-style readings at Bardot in Wynwood. Things you need to know: free Zapaca rum will flow from 6-7pm; after 7pm admission is $10; everyone receives one free book. (More)
Saturday (11/23) // Miami Book Fair International:
All day: If you’ve got a flair for books, this one’s for you! The Miami Book Fair International is taking over downtown Miami—now through Sunday—for their colossal annual literary party. And with hundreds of authors doing readings and discussions, it’s one event you’d be sorry to miss. Check out the full lineup here.
Sunday (11/24) // Sunday Broken BBQ:
3pm: The highlights: a (much needed) do-it-yourself bloody mary bar, delicious eats and sweet beats courtesy of Haitian Hillbilly. Bring friends, your ping pong skills and good vibes. Firing up the b-b-q at 3pm! (RSVP)
Monday (11/25) // Pop-Up Piano Miami’s Piano Preview and Concert:
7pm: Catch a sneak peek of Pop-Up Piano Miami’s (PUPM) painted pianos at Miami Iron Side before they are installed around the city for Art Basel. Other highlights include live musical performances by local musicians Guitars Over Guns (PUPM’s beneficiary) and Suenalo, plus specially crafted designer jewelry and refreshments courtesy of Bombay Sapphire and KIND.
