How can I get to the United Center from Freehand Chicago?

The United Center is located at 1901 W Madison St, Chicago, IL 60612. It is situated just west of downtown Chicago near other popular attractions like Soldier Field and Millennium Park.

If you’re planning on attending an event at the United Center during your stay at Freehand Chicago, traveling there is easy:

  • Taxi (approx. 14 minutes)
  • Bus (approx 30 minutes): Walk from Freehand Chicago to Grand and State Bus Station (approx. 1 minute), catch the 65 ride 16 minutes to Grand and Damen. Walk 2 mins to Damen and Hubbard Station and ride the 50 bus for approx. 4 mins to Damen and Madison, walk 3 minutes north on St Damen Avenue to find the United Center on your right.
  • Rail (approx. 30 minutes): Walk from Freehand to State/Lake Station, take the Green Line to Ashland and walk 13 mins to reach the United Center.
